Position: ESL/ESP English Language Instructors

The Noor American Cultural & Educational Center (N-ACEC) in Al-Khobar Saudi Arabia invites applications from professionally qualified and experienced male and female instructors to teach Saudi students ESL ranging from the beginners to advanced levels in addition to TOEFL/SAT/GRE/GMAT Preparation courses. We also seek ESP instructors in business writing and report writing (both academic and technical).

The N-ACEC is a newly opened Educational Center administered by an American Director and Academic Directors. All teachers are either native language speakers or bilingual in Arabic and English. Although N-ACEC is newly opened in Al-Khobar, it is very closely affiliated with the American Cultural & Educational Center in Bahrain and modeled after the Bahrain Center, which has been a successful and leading ESL Center in Bahrain for 8 years. The N-ACEC is located in the beautiful prosperous Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia in Al-Khobar with easy access to the Causeway leading to Bahrain.

The Candidate must meet the following minimum criteria:
*a BA degree in English or Linguistics or TESOL from an American,
British, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand or South African university.
*TESOL Certification or Diploma, including RSA, CELTA, or DELTA
*Have at least 2 years of full time, formal English teaching experience at a secondary school or university in the Gulf Region of the Middle East.
*Be a native English speaker or demonstrate ability to speak both Arabic and English at native language proficiency levels

Candidates who meet the following additional criteria are highly desirable:
*MA in English Literature/Linguistics/TESOL
*Overseas ESL teaching experience, especially in the Gulf
*Experience in teaching and developing curriculum for ESP courses, especially in the areas of business, engineering, hospitality and medicine.
*Ability to apply computer-assisted language learning aptitude in the classroom and have hadexperience in using the smart board technology in the classroom
*Experience in evaluation and test-writing

Compensation and Benefits Package:
